8 - way Hand Tie

Each coil spring is tied by hand in eight directions using strong twine. This creates a supportive, flexible seat that distributes weight evenly, enhancing comfort and durability. It’s considered a hallmark of premium furniture craftsmanship.

Coil Springs

Individual metal springs are placed in the seat base to provide support and comfort. They compress under weight and bounce back, offering durability and even weight distribution. This method is often used in high-quality sofas for a firm yet comfortable feel.

Sinuous Wire

Made of heavy-gauge steel wires formed into a continuous “S” shape. These wires run front to back and are fastened to the frame, offering firm, consistent support. It's a durable and cost-effective alternative to coil springs.
